Overview of Education, Experience and Credentials

We are looking for dedicated individuals with the following qualifications and attributes:

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Previous hospitality/kitchen stewarding experience preferred
  • Food prep experience is an advantage

  • Physically fit and energetic
  • Excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Team player with a proactive mindset
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends

Kitchen Steward – Tasks and Responsibilities

As a Kitchen Steward, you will be responsible for:

  • Washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Assisting with basic food prep (chopping, portioning, and plating)
  • Supporting chefs in preparing canapés and event food
  • Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen areas and storage
  • Complying with Health & Safety and food hygiene standards
  • Taking initiative to ensure smooth kitchen operations
