Waiter – Tasks and Responsibilities
As a Waiter at Amano, your role is to provide exceptional hospitality and seamless service to our guests. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering memorable dining experiences in a busy, high-standard restaurant
- Taking food and beverage orders with accuracy and enthusiasm
- Recommending menu items and sharing knowledge of dishes and wine
- Working cohesively with both front-of-house and kitchen teams
- Maintaining a professional, friendly, and attentive approach
- Upselling products through confident and genuine interactions
- Ensuring cleanliness and efficiency in your section
Overview of Language, Education, Experience and Credentials
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar high-volume restaurant
- Familiarity with modern service standards and POS systems
- Strong wine and food knowledge
Skills and Attributes:
- Passion for hospitality and excellent people skills
- Able to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays
- Great team player with strong communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- A positive and energetic attitude
