Overview of Education, Specialization, and Credentials Required for the Job
We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:
Languages:
English (required)
Mandarin (advantageous)
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in light steel frame construction projects (required)
Skills:
- Proficiency in installing and assembling steel framing
- Hands-on experience in general construction labour
- Ability to follow building plans and specifications accurately
- Physically fit to handle demanding tasks
- Familiarity with construction tools and safety procedures
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist in assembling and installing light steel framing for walls, roofs, and floors
- Follow building specifications and plans to ensure accurate construction
- Erect and dismantle temporary structures like scaffolding and barricades
- Mix, pour, and spread construction materials (e.g., concrete, mortar, plaster)
- Assist in installation of piping, valves, fittings, and basic plumbing fixtures
- Operate power tools and maintain construction equipment
- Coordinate with other trades such as electricians, plumbers, and painters
- Keep the site clean, safe, and organized
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
