Home Health Care Worker – Tasks and Responsibilities
As a Home Health Care Worker with the De Cola Family, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily well-being and comfort of an elderly client. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Administering bedside and personal care
- Assisting with bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Supporting light daily exercise (e.g., walks)
- Performing housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Offering personalized care and attention as needed
Overview of Language, Education, Experience and Credentials
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of high school (or equivalent experience)
- 1 to less than 7 months of relevant caregiving experience
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong sense of patience, compassion, and reliability
- Physically able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
- Organized, dependable, and able to follow routine care schedules
- Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional maturity
- Must pass a criminal record check
