PERSONAL TRAINER – TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Planning, executing, and delivering personal and group fitness and wellness programs
- Conducting fitness assessments, consultations, and personalized training plans
- Leading one-on-one training sessions and group classes safely and professionally
- Demonstrating proper techniques, form, and spotting during workouts
- Upholding Spa policies, health, safety, and operational standards
- Maintaining gym, studio, and equipment cleanliness and readiness
- Serving as a wellness brand ambassador for Raffles Hotels & Resorts
- Supporting team operations in spa, recreation, and wellness areas when required
- Scheduling and promoting classes, workshops, and guest engagement activities
- Maintaining continuous professional certifications and updated knowledge in fitness and wellness
OVERVIEW OF EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CREDENTIALS
The company is looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Fitness, Sports Science, or related field
- Recognized Personal Training Certification (ACE, NASM, ISSA, or equivalent)
- CPR/First Aid Certification preferred
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality or fitness centers is an asset
