Responsibilities
Working as a waiter/ waitress at the restaurant you shall be responsible for the following tasks and duties
Tasks
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
- Prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
- Advise on menu selections
- Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- Serve food and beverages
- Supervise other servers and bussing staff
- Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
- Assist clients/guests with special needs
- Provide customer service
Overview of the job for waiter/ waitress
The preferred language is English. The candidate must be fluent in both written and oral communication in English
The educational requirement for this job is Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. The necessary training will be provided by the employer.
Work must be completed ON SITE. There is no option to work remotely.
