Ruby Siam Thai restaurant is looking to hire you as waiter/waitress in their restaurant

Location	Surrey, BC
Type of employment	Permanent employment/ part time leading to full time
Wages	17.40 hourly / 7 to 17.5 hours per week

Responsibilities

Working as a waiter/ waitress at the restaurant you shall be responsible for the following tasks and duties

Tasks

• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
• Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
• Advise on menu selections
• Balance cash and record sales
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
• Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
• Serve food and beverages
• Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
• Train staff
• Assist clients/guests with special needs
• Provide customer service
• Take customers’ orders
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Verify receipts and packing slips
• Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables
• Place dishes in storage area

Overview of the job for waiter/ waitress

The prefered language is English. The candidate must be fluent in both written and oral communication in English

No degree or certificate diploma is required for the job. The necessary training will be provided by the employer.

Work must be completed ON SITE. There is no option to work remotely. The work site environment is Hot and Noisy.

Experience and specialization requirements

The candidate applying for the job should possess Computer and technology knowledge and must be able to operate
