RESTAURANT COOK – TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes
- Determining portion sizes and estimating food costs
- Inspecting kitchens and food service areas for cleanliness and safety
- Ordering supplies and maintaining inventory of food, supplies, and equipment
- Supervising and training kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintaining records and ensuring proper food storage
- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas and equipment
- Managing daily kitchen operations
OVERVIEW OF EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CREDENTIALS
Bukhara Grill is seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate (required)
- 2–3 years of experience as a cook in a restaurant setting
- Specialization in East Indian cuisine (preferred)
- Work authorization in Canada (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit)
