Coriander Green is looking for an experienced Cook to join its restaurant team in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a skilled food-service professional who can prepare quality meals, manage kitchen operations and work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Cook at Coriander Green, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals while helping maintain smooth and efficient kitchen operations. The role also involves supervising kitchen staff, managing food supplies and ensuring food service areas meet appropriate standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Determining food portion sizes and calculating food costs.
- Preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes.
- Preparing meals for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Preparing special meals for patients according to instructions from a dietitian or chef.
- Inspecting kitchens and food service areas.
- Training kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking and handling procedures.
- Supervising kitchen staff and helpers.
- Maintaining accurate inventories and records of food, supplies and equipment.
- Cleaning kitchen and work areas.
- Organizing buffets and banquets.
- Managing day-to-day kitchen operations.
- Maintaining food quality and consistency.
