Orchard workers are needed to undertake all aspects of as instructed to meet seasonal and business requirements for the harvest season (Now until June). Induction and on the job training will be provided at the commencement of employment.
Harvest (picking) fruit is to be picked and placed in picker bags which are then emptied into bins. All care must be taken to ensure picked fruit is not bruised or physically damaged. When emptying fruit bags into bins, inspect picked fruit to ensure any foreign matter such as twigs, sticks or leaves are not left in bins or picked fruit.

The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications and skills:
- Languages: English preferred but not specified
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma requirement specified
- Experience: Previous experience in orchard work or similar roles is beneficial but not essential. Training will be provided.
- Licenses: Forklift/tractor license (Preferred)
Tasks and Responsibilities
As an Orchard Worker, your responsibilities include:
- Picking fruit and placing it into picker bags, which are then emptied into bins
- Inspecting picked fruit to ensure no foreign matter (such as twigs, sticks, or leaves) is left in the bins or picked fruit
- Complying with all instructions from supervisors
- Maintaining quality standards throughout the orchard processes
- Adhering to all Health & Safety instructions and procedures, including wearing necessary safety gear when instructed
- Complying with specific orchard hygiene instructions
- Reporting any damage immediately
- Undertaking associated orchard tasks as required
