Job Requirements
- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Experience an asset
- Credentials:
- AZ class license
- Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
- Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
- Specialization:
- Knowledge of inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
- Experience operating GPS and other navigation equipment
- Ability to operate tractor-trailers
Responsibilities & Tasks
- Transport goods and materials safely and efficiently
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate logs and reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients
- Handle minor vehicle maintenance when necessary
Additional Information
- Security and Safety: Drug test, Medical exam
- Transportation/Travel Requirements: Valid driver’s license
- Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities:
- Physically demanding
- Sitting for extended periods
- Ability to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
