Job Requirements
- Languages: English
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of work experience in a driving role, or at least a Level 2 (or higher) qualification
- Work Environment: Taxi vehicle, on the road, customer service-driven
Responsibilities & Tasks
As a Taxi Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Transporting passengers to various addresses using the most appropriate routes
- Following mobile computer systems and adhering to schedules
- Completing and maintaining accurate logs and reports
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and road safety standards
- Assisting clients with loading and unloading their luggage and belongings as needed
- Processing fare payments through EFTPOS machines
- Keeping your vehicle clean and well-maintained
- Reporting vehicle maintenance needs to car groomers and maintenance teams
- Starting and stopping the taximeter at the correct times
- Adhering to all road regulations and ensuring passenger safety at all times
Other Requirements
- Driver’s License: A clean Class 1 driver’s license with no history of traffic violations is essential
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends
- Character: Clean criminal background
- Workplace Standards: Zero tolerance for alcohol and drugs
