Overview of Education, Specialization, and Credentials Required for the Job
We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:
Languages:
- English (required)
Education:
- Relevant trade certificate or qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience preferred
Certificates & Licences:
- Valid driver’s license (Class 2 or higher preferred)
- Trade Certification in Diesel/Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
Tasks and Responsibilities
As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, your responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical issues in heavy diesel vehicles
- Performing regular maintenance and servicing of machinery
- Maintaining accurate service records and reporting issues
- Working in compliance with health and safety standards
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure minimal vehicle downtime
